The implementation of the Digital Employment Card is being expanded to new sectors of the economy as of Monday, October 12, with the mandatory recording of employment time now affecting an additional 500,000 employees. According to the Ministry of Labor, the total number of employees covered by the measure now stands at approximately 2.5 million. Read here ⇛
Starting tomorrow, Monday, October 12, the Digital Employment Card becomes mandatory for thousands of employees in new sectors of the economy, including health services, telecommunications, hair salons and beauty centers.
Another 500,000 workers will be covered by the Digital Labor Card, these are the sectors with the most overtime
The next milestone is October 12, 2026, when the full implementation of the Digital Work Card begins in a series of new activities.
