The deputy Nerea Fernández will be the coordinator of IU Extremadura after an agreement between the registered candidates

The autonomous deputy Nerea Fernández Cordero has been appointed new coordinator of Izquierda Unida Extremadura. The two candidates who had presented themselves to lead the formation, that of Joaquín Macías (present coordinator) and the young moral David Araújo, obtained a technical tie in the voting process held between 22 and 27 April and finally in the course of the XV Assembly held this Sunday in Mérida both parties have reached an agreement.
