The District Court in Nowy Sącz has dismissed the Ministry of Culture's lawsuit regarding Kazimierz Sichulski's painting "Defense of Lviv," which was lost during the war, Gazeta.pl has learned. The work has been in the possession of a family from Lesser Poland for years. The court ruled that the painting did not belong to the State Treasury. The ruling is not final. The Ministry has already filed an appeal.
