The Decision of the TİP (Workers' Party of Turkey) Regarding the 'Framework Law' Has Been Announced.
The Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) announced its stance on the "framework law" proposal following a Party Council meeting held in Ankara on August 8-9. The statement from TİP read, "We would like to inform the public that we will vote 'yes' on the framework law, with the reservation of the shortcomings and criticisms we have listed."
Erkan Baş, the leader of the Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP), announced that they will vote "yes" on the "Framework Law" proposal in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, despite all their criticisms of the government. Baş stated that the hope for peace is too important to be left to the mercy of the Palace.
