King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark will arrive in Lithuania on a state visit on Wednesday, during which they will meet with the country's leaders, volunteer soldiers, and riflemen.
IN IMAGES - On Wednesday 28 January, Queen Mary and King Frederik of Denmark were received at the presidential palace of Vilnius, Lithuania, for a majestic state dinner. For the occasion, the sovereign came out a jewel dear to her.
"Of course, we could not avoid this topic with the king, although the king is not a directly politically engaged person, but as the moral authority of the state and a person who is truly a patriot of his country, it hurts his heart, like all Danes, that we are in such a difficult situation," G. Nausėda told reporters on Thursday.
