The Czech Television Board will select a new head of the public broadcaster on Wednesday. The position vacated by the previous director, Jan Souček, who was dismissed by the board on May 6, should be filled by one of the five finalists in the selection process. They are Libuše Šmuclerová, Milan Fridrich, Hynek Chudárek, Miroslav Karas and Jiří Ponikelský.
