The Okinawa Times has published "The Cry of Truth: The Autobiography of Marie, Queen of Okinawa Rock." This is the first autobiography by Marie (formerly known as Kyan Marie), a rock singer born to an Okinawan mother and a father who was a U.S. soldier, who was active from under U.S. military rule until Okinawa's return to Japan.
