This Florida Man Is Taking His Pear-Shaped Moped on a Summer Cross-Country Road Trip
Andrew Glubbey built the ride from two-by-fours and aluminum cans, and he hopes the 3,100-mile trip will save about $3,000 in gas.

Unlike past art car projects prioritizing awards, Glubbey's latest adventure emphasizes human interaction over competition. He noted, "It's been the most friendly car to drive around that I've sculpted on."
Glubbey hopes his pear-shaped moped inspires others to attempt motorcycle travel across long distances. He plans to hit as many cities as possible along his route from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific.
