The construction of the new Combat Supply Ship (BAC) for the Navy, which will be built in the Fragatas and Intervention Ships Business Unit (NFBI) of Navantia in Ferrol, will start predictably in August of next year, 2026, when the first steel cut will take place, and will end in 2030.This new BAC will replace the A-14 Patiño that the Navy received in 1995 and that, with 30 years of service, is already in its last third life.
