Satire about the creation and business of painting, made by a Steven Soderbergh whom we didn't expect there, the film is a boulevard for the awesome Ian McKellen.
Under his moods of biting family drama, the varnish cracked of the solitude of the creator, a merchant of illusions and disillusionments. Michaela Coel and Ian McKellen, in a face-to-face theatrical, lively and wheeled.
In front of Steven Soderbergh's camera, Ian McKellen shines as a former star of the pictorial scene, which reveals itself as a result of an exchange with his so-called assistant, incarnated by Michaela Coel.
