The Central Election Commission has taken a decision to terminate the registration process of the Bulgarian Socialist Party for participation in the upcoming presidential elections. This was reported by the Bulgarian National Radio. The decision was taken after the Chairman of the National Council of the BSP, Krum Zarkov, submitted a request to withdraw and delete the previously submitted application for registration of the party for the vote.
On September 8, the Central Election Commission received an application from the Bulgarian Socialist Party to terminate the registration proceedings of the formation for participation in the presidential elections on October 25.
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) takes the decision, with some of them stopping the registration process for the Socialist Party (BSP) in Bulgaria for participating in the upcoming presidential election.
