The cause of fecal contamination of drinking water around Tartu is still unknown.

More than 700 people have already fallen ill with similar symptoms near Tartu, and the cause of the nausea and fever is believed to be drinking water. Health Board samples show fecal contamination in the drinking water, but how the contamination occurred is still unknown.
