Tisza's candidate for powerful new prosecution agency named
The National Assembly’s Justice and Constitutional Affairs Committee has nominated Anna Róza Unger to head the National Office for the Recovery and Protection of National Assets (NVVH). The parliamentary committee on justice and constitutional affairs nominates Anna Ungár as president of the NVVH and Katalin Tasnádi as deputy president for investigations.
They can vote on it at an extraordinary session of parliament on Friday.
The Judiciary and Constitutional Affairs Committee recommends him. The parliament will vote on the selected candidates, the president and vice presidents, on Friday.
The committee recommends Anna Róza Unger to head the NVVH. The political scientist would start an office of 150 people and does not promise quick judgments.
The Tisza Party has revealed why it is proposing Anna Unger to head the National Asset Protection and Asset Recovery Office - They can start work from September 1. According to Ágnes Hallerné Nagy, their task is over, and they will not interfere in the operation of the NVVH.
