UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese accuses Israel of deliberately killing journalists in the Gaza Strip. Israel rejects the report with harsh words. Many killed are terrorists. There are now new indications for this.
UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine, Albanese, stated that Israel's attacks on journalists in Gaza facilitate genocide and could be described as 'media genocide'. According to the report, Israel has killed nearly 300 journalists since October 2023.
As of October 7, 2023 Israel killed almost three hundred journalists and wounded more than four hundred of them. Many wore jackets and helmets with the inscription "PRESS" , transported equipment or were in marked vehicles and tents. These elements, instead of allowing the Israeli army to identify and protect media operators, facilitated their beating.
