The revenues amounted to 256 billion hers, accounting for an increase of 13.6% over 2024, and the cost of 320 billion hers was greater than 12% over the past year.
Already in the first quarter the "red" current account almost doubled to what the agreement with the IMF established for the whole year. The exchange rate appreciated and the rise in imports explain this hole.
The governments were aware of the budgetary disaster since 2024. On 31 December, the Government of Cialoc published "trenoleus order" which would have to limit the deficit. However, after the first 5 months, we reached 3.39%, with a higher amount in front of 2024.
