Swimming on the beaches of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer is prohibited until further notice, the City said. In question, a technical incident occurred on the night of Monday 20 to Tuesday 21 July 2026. Analyses are under way.
Following a technical malfunction at the Saint-Cyr sewage treatment plant last night, which resulted in a discharge of pre-treated water at sea and although no pollution of bathing water was found, the beaches of Lecques and La Madrague were pre-emptively closed on Tuesday 21 July 2026 at bathing.
