The Batman Part II Update: Why Filming Is 'Harder' for Robert Pattinson Than the First Movie

- Actor Robert Pattinson revealed that filming for The Batman Part II is currently underway, with the sequel scheduled to hit theaters February 18, 2028. Pattinson noted the production is significantly more taxing than 2022's The Batman.
- Now 40 years old, Pattinson admitted physical demands have intensified since he was 33 filming the original. He revealed, "I'm definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I'm literally like, Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be."
- Director Matt Reeves returned to helm the sequel, co-writing the script with Mattson Tomlin, while newcomers include Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent and Scarlett Johansson as Gilda Dent. Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell return from the original.
- Beyond the main ensemble, Sebastian Koch and Brian Tyree Henry have joined in undisclosed roles, while Barry Keoghan is expected to return as The Joker. Pattinson said, "I think the movie's going to be pretty great. It's got a really, really fun cast, but it's a marathon."
