WATTENS. By the end of 2026, 400 jobs should be lost at the Tyrolean headquarters of the crystal group. How many agreements are finally pronounced is not yet clear, said Jerome Dandrieux, General Manager.
The ÖGB Tirol criticizes "numerous management errors" at Swarovski and an "absolute intra-sparency" of the company. The dismantling of 400 Swarovski employees could not be the last job strike, the union fears.
The jewelry giant is also suffering from the decline in European and Chinese relations. The situation is not very bright.
