The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Nabil Fahmy, welcomed the announcement by the United Kingdom of a ban on the import of goods produced in illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, commending the intention of 12 States to take similar steps to impose trade restrictions on such settlements, consistent with the requirements of international law.
