President Karol Nawrocki signed an amendment to the Medical Fund Act on Friday. Thanks to changes in the limits, approximately PLN 3.6 billion will be transferred to the National Health Fund (NFZ) to finance services for children. Nawrocki emphasized that the amendment was partially prepared in cooperation with his office. “President Karol Nawrocki informed at the medical summit at the Presidential Palace that he had decided to sign the law on the Medical Fund. “I have not and was not authorized to withdraw PLN 4 billion from the Medical Fund this year.”
I have decided to sign the Medical Fund Act. In return, the Ministry of Health will not be able to make similar moves to withdraw money from the Medical Fund in future years," stated Karol Nawrocki.
