There will be no Belgian tax of 2 euros on small parcels from outside the European Union after all. Starting in July of next year, Belgium will suddenly introduce a European tax of 3 euros. An agreement on this was reached within the European Union earlier this month. At the end of last month, the federal government had decided to introduce a 2-euro parcel tax, but that will now not happen.
