The Thales Group recorded a strong first quarter increase, driven by the defence. Revenue and orders exceeded expectations, with a marked increase in military contracts, particularly in Europe and the Middle East.
In the first quarter of 2026, Thales' orders flew (+71%), to 2.2 billion euros in the field of defence, while turnover in this sector rose significantly (+13.2%), to 3.04 billion.
