Thai Airways will implement Trax's cloud-based eMRO and Aerostrat's AI-powered planning tools to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce environmental impact, AAR said.
- On Jan. 5, 2026, AAR CORP. announced from WOOD DALE, Ill. that Thai Airways, the national flag carrier, selected Trax and Aerostrat to drive a digital MRO transformation.
- Thai Airways launched a strategic roadmap to convert its MRO into a world-class Digital MRO, aiming to digitise processes that cut paper use, speed turnaround, and lower environmental impact.
- Trax will supply Trax eMRO ERP, Trax eMobility apps and cloud hosting for real-time data access, while Aerostrat will provide Aerros advanced maintenance planning software and proprietary AI-powered solutions.
- Operationally, the programme should help Thai Airways' maintenance operations increase productivity and reduce operational costs, said Andrew Schmidt, senior vice president of AAR Digital Services and President of Trax, while digitising processes aims to speed turnarounds and lower environmental impact.
