TGI Fridays close to rescue deal with Breal and Calveton

A rescue deal for the British operations of TGI Fridays is expected to finalize this weekend, saving more than 2,000 jobs.
The deal will include 50 to 55 of the chain's 87 sites and protect at least 2,000 out of over 3,000 jobs.
Following the deal, 35 restaurants will close, resulting in 1,012 redundancies, but nearly 2,400 jobs have been saved overall.
