Tesco and B&M recall crips as 'do not eat' warnings issued

Retail giants Tesco and B&M issued an urgent product recall after discovering undeclared ingredients on some Calbee crisps, pulling the packs from shelves and urging shoppers not to eat them.
Investigators identified undeclared mustard in Calbee Hot & Spicy Potato Chips and celery in Calbee Pizza Potato Chips, posing a possible health risk for people with those allergies.
The recall covers Calbee Pizza Chips with best before codes up to and including June 5, 2026, and 55g and 105g Hot & Spicy Potato Chips with codes up to and including June 5, 2026.
Customers are advised to return the affected crisps to the store of purchase for a full refund, retain the packaging, and contact Calbee customer care on 03306600015 or Customer Services on 0330 838 9000 for questions.
The Food Standards Agency confirmed Calbee Group UK Ltd recalls Hot & Spicy and Pizza chips for missing mustard and celery labels, while a B&M spokesperson called it a precautionary measure and apologised to customers.
