The order was issued by Chief Education Officer Akash Saraswat following directions from the Chamoli District Magistrate. In view of the increasing menace of stray and violent dogs in the Narayanbagad area of Chamoli, a decision has been taken to close 10 schools for four days. Keeping the safety of students in mind, schools will be closed from August 20th to 23rd. During this period, classes will be conducted online.
