Telfar's Paris Fashion Week Runway Show Was Actually In Brooklyn
The collection paired inside-out tailoring and animal print with a sample sale and bag trade-in program for loyal customers.
On Tuesday, designer Telfar Clemens staged a dual-location runway event, broadcasting the show via livestream in Paris while hosting a physical gathering at One Hanson Place in Brooklyn.
The show venue hosted the brand's largest sample sale, featuring more than 30,000 garments and bags at up to 90 percent off, alongside the launch of a new Bag Redemption program.
Clemens showcased elevated tailoring and denim connecting back to the 2010 collection, while introducing new handbags including a faux fur foxtail style and a Triangle bag slated for next year.
"It's really for Brooklyn," Clemens added, emphasizing the hometown connection while hoping the global audience engaged with the simultaneous Paris Fashion Week broadcast.
Hundreds of customers wrapped around the block for the event, marking a "rebirth" for Telfar as the brand moves into a new chapter through the week.
