Telework remains widely practised in France in 2025. Despite the media coverage of a few groups that have reduced it, the majority of companies continue to maintain it, convinced of its beneficial effects for managers.
Despite some mediated exceptions, telework remains an essential component of the framework statute, with a majority of companies maintaining their policy in favour of this practice.
Only 9% of enterprises restricted telework in 2025, according to Apec. This scheme "has become an essential pillar of the framework status", far from being reduced to the margin.
Nearly nine in ten companies did not change their telework policy for executives in 2025, according to a study published this Thursday by the Association for Executive Employment (Apec).
