With the approach of flu season, the flu vaccine is back in the spotlight. According to TEİS (Turkish Pharmacists' Association), two flu vaccines are covered by SGK (Social Security Institution). While the retail price of the vaccine available at pharmacies is 764 lira, SGK covers 451.01 lira of it. Experts state that the most suitable time to get vaccinated is October-November.
