In an exceptionally detailed appeal to the public with photos of the alleged kidnappers and the vehicle used, the Sûreté du Québec announced the abduction in Sainte-Thérèse of an 18-year-old woman, Cassandra Levasseur. According to the SQ, it is her own "biological" parents who would have seized her by force to bring her into a vehicle on Thursday.
