Three Dead in Collision of Car, Four Motorcycles Crash in Kawartha Lakes, Ont.
Police said an 18-year-old driver and two motorcyclists died after a collision involving four motorcycles and a passenger vehicle.
On Saturday at about 6 p.m., a collision involving a passenger vehicle and four motorcycles in Omemee, Ont., killed three people at the intersection of Highway 7 and New Heights Road.
Victims included an 18-year-old man from Peterborough and a 72-year-old man from Dunchurch, both pronounced dead at the scene; a 65-year-old man from Barrie later died at a Toronto-area trauma centre.
The Ontario Provincial Police Technical Collision Investigation unit is currently examining the scene while a 36-year-old man from Sudbury was treated and released and a 30-year-old man from Sudbury remains hospitalized.
Investigators with the Ontario Provincial Police are reviewing evidence and request that anyone with dashcam footage contact the Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
