Texas wins SEC softball tournament championship over Alabama
The Longhorns thumped second-seeded Alabama 7-1 on Saturday to claim the tournament title at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington, Kentucky. Texas is the seventh different program to claim the SEC tournament title since 2021, following Oklahoma and Texas A&M's shared title last year. Florida won in 2024, Tennessee in 2023, Arkansas in 2022 and Alabama in 2021.
