Japanese electronics firm TDK has started production of its TFM201612BLEA series of thin-film power inductors for automotive power circuits with currents up to 5.6 A. The TFM201612BLEAR33MTCA has a rated inductance of 0.33 µH and the TFM201612BLEAR47MTCA has a rated inductance of 0.47 µH. The new inductors achieve a 16% higher rated current of 5.6 A and a 31% lower DC resistance of 22 mΩ, compared with the company’s conventional TFM-ALMA series …
