- TC Energy Corp. Has completed the sale of a 40% stake in its Columbia Gas Transmission and Columbia Gulf Transmission systems to Global Infrastructure Partners for $5.3 billion. The proceeds will be used to reduce TC Energy's debt.
- TC Energy will continue to operate the pipelines, and both TC Energy and Global Infrastructure Partners will jointly fund their maintenance, modernization, and growth.
- The Columbia Gas and Columbia Gulf pipelines span over 24,000 kilometers, delivering a significant amount of U.S. Natural gas demand, including approximately 20% of U.S. Liquefied natural gas export supply.
