On 5 September, the taxi organisations, led by the FNDT, plan massive blockages across France to oppose a health transport reform, which threatens the sustainability of a vital sector in the face of savings imposed by sickness insurance.

The government is attacking the surge in health transport costs, which reached €6.8 billion in 2023.
