Tattoo, Facebook post link Nevada man to $20K Cheyenne bank fraud

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A man faces allegations of cashing more than $20,000 in fraudulent savings bonds at a Cheyenne bank, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed in Laramie County Circuit Court. Hughston Dillon Lee Payntier, 33, is accused of defrauding Banner Capitol Bank of $20,736 in early 2023. He’s charged with four counts of forgery by uttering.
