On November 9, 2023, Agnes Joyet submitted a meeting notice to the Southern Prefecture of the Police and Border Guard Board (PPA) to organize a public meeting on November 18, 2023 from 12 noon to 2 pm in Tartu Town Hall Square with the aim: “Rally in support of the human rights of Palestinians — the right to life, the right to humanitarian aid, the right to the future.”. The police, however, banned the event.
