Tariff rationalisation set to continue, more steps likely in FY28 Budget: FM

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman confirmed ongoing import tariff rationalisation efforts. Further measures are expected in the budget for the year 2027-28. She also outlined the Viksit Bharat vision for the year 2047. This vision includes zero poverty and universal access to education and healthcare.
