"France denounces the placing under provisional administration without justification of the Russian subsidiaries of several French and European companies," we read in a joint communiqué of the Ministries of Economy and Foreign Affairs.
The French government has called on the Russian authorities to reverse their decision to transfer Auchan and Nestlé assets to the temporary management of L.E.V. Management. A decree to this effect was signed and published by Vladimir Putin.
Similar measure was adopted on the shares of the Le Monlid chain of stores, which previously operated in Russian territory under the brand Leroy Merlin.
France today asked the Russian Federation to reverse the decision to place under temporary control assets of European companies, such as French Auchan, with Moscow to justify the measure for the military support of the countries concerned to Ukraine.
