‘Taking a paws’ as the semester winds down at UNBC
December can be a stressful time of year for students with final exams looming. That’s where the UNBC Jack.org club comes in with the Take a Paws event. The club’s mandate is to raise awareness around mental health and put on events to get students talking about mental health and reduce stress on campus. The club brought in Pawsitive Horizons, a local therapy dog organization, to facilitate some meaningful conversations and share some puppy love.
