Türkiye, Italy not merely commercial partners but key components of joint manufacturing ecosystem, Turkish trade minister says
At the end of the meeting, the two ministers met with a selection of Italian companies with important interests in the Turkish market, active in the fields of infrastructure and transport, defence and aerospace, energy, telecommunications and steel.
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat stated that the trade volume between Turkey and Italy is approaching 30 billion dollars in 2025, and that they will continue to develop economic relations between the two countries in line with the 40 billion dollar target set by President Erdoğan and Italian Prime Minister Meloni.
