Taiwan, Texas sign economic cooperation agreement - Focus Taiwan

Taipei, May 10 (CNA) Taiwan and Texas signed an economic cooperation agreement, which was witnessed by Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung (林佳龍), during an artificial intelligence innovation summit in the U.S. state on Friday.

On May 7, Taiwan's Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung began his visit to Texas, with his first stop being a visit to Houston Mayor John Whitmire. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the future direction of bilateral cooperation, especially on the investment plan of the "Taiwan Tower" in downtown Houston.
