Suara Rakyat Malaysia’s (Suaram) executive director, Azura Nasron, calls on Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) to lodge a police report to initiate an independent investigation into false and misleading testimonies by Taiping Prison officers following the death of a 62-year-old inmate in January.
