Syracuse, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man originally accused of attempted murder was sentenced to two years in prison Wednesday after the charges against him were significantly reduced.Shakeem Singleton, 24, previously pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted criminal possession of a weapon in exchange for a sentence of two years in state prison. He was sentenced Wednesday.
