Southwest Texas Junior College’s board of trustees will meet today, Sept. 21, to decide whether to adopt its proposed tax rate of 12.03 cents per $100 property valuation. The board will also discuss whether to nominate appraisal district board members in Uvalde and Real counties. Trustees approved the proposed rate during the Aug. 17 meeting.
