Suspicious Vehicle Fire in Stony Plain’s North Business Park
At approximately 1:18 a.m. on May 8, the Stony Plain Fire Department received multiple 911 calls reporting a fire accompanied by loud explosions in the North Business Park, specifically along Boulder Boulevard. Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered four vehicles fully engulfed in flames, with a fifth vehicle sustaining damage.
Many calls were made at 911 at the beginning of the night, on Thursday 8 May, when two vehicles immobilized on the road were inflamed on Toussaint Street in Sainte-Dorothée. It was at 0019 and the influx of witnesses crystallized the concern of several citizens living in this enclaved area between Notre-Dame Boulevards and Samson, somewhat west of Highway 13.
