Police Arrest Man Barricaded in Motel Cabin in San Juan

Authorities responded to a situation involving a man barricaded in one of the cabins at the Motel Ok, on Highway PR-1 in San Juan.

A man who had been committing robberies in the metropolitan area for days, most recently on Sunday afternoon, targeting two septuagenarians in the parking lot of the Pueblo supermarket in Plaza Las Américas, barricaded himself in the Motel Ok in Caimito last night, where dozens of agents and negotiators arrived and captured him.

The 16-year-old diaspora resident entered several businesses over the course of a week, and while threatening them, managed to rob five of them. PRELIMINAR – The police deal with a situation with a entrenched man, who earlier this Sunday would have committed several robberies in San Juan and Carolina.
