A Sanford man who was charged with felony hit and run after a car accident which killed a 16 year old in 2023 was found guilty of a lesser charge related to the case in Lee County Superior Court after a three day trial this week. Josue Palacios of Sanford was found guilty of misdemeanor counts of hit and run, failing to report an accident and not having an operator’s license.
