Susanna Struck Out with the Gold

Súsanna Skylv crowned her wonderful Island Games achievement with a victory in the city cycling in Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands on Friday. The iron woman won by a little more than a hair's breadth in a tough final race against two women from Guernsey, where two hundredths were between 1st and 3rd place. This is the first time that a woman has won gold in cycling for the Faroe Islands at the Island Games.
