Pride Month Kicking Off Around the Region with Parades and Festivals
- Philly Pride 365 has revealed that Philadelphia’s Pride March and Festival will take place on June 1, 2025, serving as a major event during Gay Pride Month in the city.
- The events follow a record turnout last year, which drew an estimated 100,000 attendees, reflecting growing community engagement and support.
- The Pride March will gather starting at 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Sixth and Walnut streets and will conclude in the Philadelphia Gayborhood, where a festival kicks off at noon along Walnut from Pine to Quince streets and from Quince to Juniper streets.
- This year’s event will showcase America’s longest pride flag, stretching 600 feet, alongside participation from more than 200 businesses and organizations. Performances will include headliners Dawn Richard and Candiace Dillard Bassett, with Sapphira Cristal taking the Muses stage at 6 p.m. on June 2.
- The march and festival are free and open to all, highlighting Philly Pride as a major inclusive celebration that launches Gay Pride Month and fosters community visibility and support.
